Ancestors

These are my grandparents. Grandma was my guardian angel for many years but I think Gramp has assumed the mantle recently. His birthday was March 26, so this post is to honor him.

Happy Inauguration Day

Although the above compilation includes none of my original photography, I was moved on November 5th, 2008 to create this photage from Obama campaign materials. Several weeks later I received my free "Yes We Did" sticker from moveon.org and thought it was interesting that their designers had much the same idea that I had!

On this historic and hopeful day, I dedicate the Imaginista Photo Blog to Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States, his beautiful family, and my fellow citizens.
Yes. We. Did!

Mirror Images

This photograph is of a model that Gaudi built to illustrate his concept of soaring arches for the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Gaudi had made the arches of string and then hung it upsidedown over a mirror. We snapped the photo then did our own mirror magic to create this graphic piece.
