The Musical Instrument Museum

The MIM is a brand new museum/performance center that recently opened in Phoenix. We spent a lovely day there enjoying the incredible exhibits, eating at the cafe and of course, photographing it. We inherited our friend, Chris's, old lens because he got a new VR one, so the SLR is back in action! I am definitely partial to museum architecture; the light, the lines, the monochromatic color scheme all make for especially interesting photos.

ठेम्प्ले भेऔटिफ़ुल्

I've been playing with some design concepts for the Phoenix SRF Temple and in doing so, found myself playing with diffused lighting on some shots I took of the front entry.

ठेम्प्ले भेऔटिफ़ुल् means Temple Beautiful in Sanskrit.

Past the mission I smell the roses...*

I've photographed San Xavier Mission del Bac many times. I think this is as good a shot as I'll ever get.
